Alfa Romeo Giulia Super 1300 Series II

Sold

Recently purchased in Arezzo Italy a wonderfull example of one of the last Series II Super model with twin headlamps, extra gauges, gearbox console, badged as Giulia Super 1.3 and the hubcaps with exposed wheel nuts, before the Nuova model was introduced in 1974, with the plastic redesigned grille, interior and the flattened boot lid.

It is in its original Faggio Brown coloured coachwork, which was refreshed, many years ago due to sun fade, with Grey velour over Dark Grey Vinyl interior, that has had the cloth centres re-trimmed a couple of years ago.

It was registered to its original first elderly owner in Sienna, as shown on the Italian Registration document with cars documents.

Since arriving in UK it has been, UK registered, on an Age Related Historic registration.

Testimonials

  • I would like to thank Paul and his staff for my Fiat 130 Saloon (2.8) - a wonderful car! I was impressed with the service given, the car was presented to a very good standard, any issues which Paul had found with the car, he pointed out to me before I purchased the car, so no hidden horrors! I also was pleased with the delivery service for the car, which was carried out at a very reasonable cost. I would be more then happy to use Classics & Cabriolets again.Neil Clark - Fiat 130
  • Still happily driving around in the SM, since I bought the car now 2 years ago I have done about 8000 kms. The car is sublime and I intend to drive it to Monaco and back...Henk de Vries III - 1971 Citroen SM
  • I bought the car from you three years ago... (it) has performed excellently over that time. I have been very pleased with its performance and reliability... I did not appreciate how much of a head turner it would be at shows, if I park it for twenty minutes in a public car park I often come back to find people admiring it or taking photographs....John Turton - Citroen SM
  • After having driven the SM some 2000 km and more. I am well satisfied with the car. I think your description of the car on the net was correct. I am also happy with the way the business was conducted and concluded. We entered the Monte Carlo Historique Rally with the SM earlier this year and the SM performed well but we did not! We got lost on the last night section and got time barred!Agnar Dalseg - Citroen SM
  • In 2006 I bought this 1972 Lancia 2000 Saloon from Classics and Cabriolets. They were very patient with my rather cautious approach and when I did fly down to see the car I was collected from Luton Airport and driven in the car to see their base and returned again to Luton that same day. The car was exactly as described and has proved to be a worthwhile purchase over the 7000 miles since then.Tom Hutton - Lancia 2000
