Fiat 125B Samantha Vignale Coupe Right Hand Drive

£44,995

This is a stunning conditioned example of this very rare model of which, only 98 were produced in total by Vignale in Torino and it is said that, only just over 20 examples were made in Right Hand Drive

We have had it confirmed by the Vignale Register in Italy it is a matching numbers example & the third from last chassis number produced.

Still wearing its original coloured Verde paintwork, that was refreshed for the first owner over 25 years ago, with its original near unmarked Black Vinyl interior

As it is based on the Fiat 125S model it has the wonderful, 1600cc Twin Cam engine mated to a Five speed manual gearbox.

Although a 1969 model it was registered in Torino in 1971, to its first owner a Snr Antonio Gozzo (born in 1914). It was then inherited by his daughter, a Grazia Gozzo (born 1945) in 2011 and then in 2012 transferred to the Amadducci Collection in Cesena, from whom we have just purchased it.

In 1996 whilst still with her first owner she was awarded the prestigious Gold Level Plaque by the ASI Historic Registro Fiat Italiano.

It is to be UK registered on a Historic tax exempt age related registration number, and has been MOT’d, although being exempt.

When we took her to the last “Classic at the Villa” this year in Shenley Hertfordshire, she won a prize as fourth out of ten Best Show Cars there.

There is also a Video of her in motion on “Down at the Barns” YouTube channel.

Testimonials

  • I would like to thank Paul and his staff for my Fiat 130 Saloon (2.8) - a wonderful car! I was impressed with the service given, the car was presented to a very good standard, any issues which Paul had found with the car, he pointed out to me before I purchased the car, so no hidden horrors! I also was pleased with the delivery service for the car, which was carried out at a very reasonable cost. I would be more then happy to use Classics & Cabriolets again.Neil Clark - Fiat 130
  • Still happily driving around in the SM, since I bought the car now 2 years ago I have done about 8000 kms. The car is sublime and I intend to drive it to Monaco and back...Henk de Vries III - 1971 Citroen SM
  • I bought the car from you three years ago... (it) has performed excellently over that time. I have been very pleased with its performance and reliability... I did not appreciate how much of a head turner it would be at shows, if I park it for twenty minutes in a public car park I often come back to find people admiring it or taking photographs....John Turton - Citroen SM
  • After having driven the SM some 2000 km and more. I am well satisfied with the car. I think your description of the car on the net was correct. I am also happy with the way the business was conducted and concluded. We entered the Monte Carlo Historique Rally with the SM earlier this year and the SM performed well but we did not! We got lost on the last night section and got time barred!Agnar Dalseg - Citroen SM
  • In 2006 I bought this 1972 Lancia 2000 Saloon from Classics and Cabriolets. They were very patient with my rather cautious approach and when I did fly down to see the car I was collected from Luton Airport and driven in the car to see their base and returned again to Luton that same day. The car was exactly as described and has proved to be a worthwhile purchase over the 7000 miles since then.Tom Hutton - Lancia 2000
