Fiat Dino 2400 Bertone Coupe

A stunning original example of this rare 2400 model still wearing its original coloured Dark Metallic Brown paintwork, with its original near unmarked Beige Velour interior and trim, that we have just brought over from Padova in Italy.

The wonderful engine in these 2400 models was upgraded from the 2000 model?s engine with a Cast Iron Block which also was only manufactured by Ferrari itself, mated to a Five speed Dogleg gearbox.

Assembly of this model was the only one of the range, that took place completely in the Maranello factory in Italy.

Its first owner Snr Paola Beccari born 22/11/1930 that owned the car till 2012, had the car listed with the Automotoclub Storico Italiano in 1995, noted with matching numbers.

This was then transferred its 3rd owner in 2014 to a Snr Enzo Cossu born 15/09/1960. Then in 2017 it was purchased by the collector just after it had been serviced at 83,000kms on 15/06/2017, Snr Bruno Renato born 12/04/1945, that we purchased it directly from ourselves. After it only being used a little whilst in his collection, we have freshly fully serviced him at 83,763kms on 20/05/2023. He has now covered 84,677kms as we have driven him to Classic Italian night at the famous Ace Café in London & more local Classic Car Shows.

It has now been MOT’d , although being exempt and all UK registered on an Historic tax exempt, with a age related registration number.

  • I would like to thank Paul and his staff for my Fiat 130 Saloon (2.8) - a wonderful car! I was impressed with the service given, the car was presented to a very good standard, any issues which Paul had found with the car, he pointed out to me before I purchased the car, so no hidden horrors! I also was pleased with the delivery service for the car, which was carried out at a very reasonable cost. I would be more then happy to use Classics & Cabriolets again.Neil Clark - Fiat 130
  • Still happily driving around in the SM, since I bought the car now 2 years ago I have done about 8000 kms. The car is sublime and I intend to drive it to Monaco and back...Henk de Vries III - 1971 Citroen SM
  • I bought the car from you three years ago... (it) has performed excellently over that time. I have been very pleased with its performance and reliability... I did not appreciate how much of a head turner it would be at shows, if I park it for twenty minutes in a public car park I often come back to find people admiring it or taking photographs....John Turton - Citroen SM
  • After having driven the SM some 2000 km and more. I am well satisfied with the car. I think your description of the car on the net was correct. I am also happy with the way the business was conducted and concluded. We entered the Monte Carlo Historique Rally with the SM earlier this year and the SM performed well but we did not! We got lost on the last night section and got time barred!Agnar Dalseg - Citroen SM
  • In 2006 I bought this 1972 Lancia 2000 Saloon from Classics and Cabriolets. They were very patient with my rather cautious approach and when I did fly down to see the car I was collected from Luton Airport and driven in the car to see their base and returned again to Luton that same day. The car was exactly as described and has proved to be a worthwhile purchase over the 7000 miles since then.Tom Hutton - Lancia 2000
