Fiat Dino 2400 Spider 1971
This extremely rare example we were able to locate originally through one of our Italian colleague’s in Treviso Italy in 2005. It was then at the Fiat/Alfa/Lancia main dealers called Alexandre Alexandre, in their own private collection in Treviso.
Our customer for it then flew over from New Zealand with his own mechanic, on viewing such a stunning car he immediately brought it. We then brought it to UK on his behalf to ship onto New Zealand, where he is the current owner.
Being one of only 424 Fiat Dino 2400 Spiders produced between 1969 and 1972, this example is finished in the very rare Black with Tan interior showing around 39,000 km. Built at Ferrari’s Maranello factory, the 2400 Spider is the most desirable iteration of the Dino line, combining Ferrari’s 2.4-litre V6 with Pininfarina’s very elegant styling.
This car’s history is exceptional with its aristocratic links with also being this rare colour, being first registered in Treviso in March 1970. It was delivered new to Prince Egon Sebastian von Fürstenberg, noted fashion stylist and nephew of Fiat chairman Gianni Agnelli. Subsequent owners included a Treviso surgeon, a school friend of Agnelli, Prince Tassilo Von Furstenberg from Veneto. Where this famous family still have a castle in Veneto near Venice.
All the time whilst in New Zealand he has been, wonderfully looked after & cared for by his loving owner.
Our pictures shown are the lead shot is a current one in NZ, then when first viewed in 2005 in their collection. Then later in 2005 when back in UK before shipping to New Zealand. Final ones are current detailed ones from the owner on New Zealand.
This lovely rare example is available in New Zealand directly from the owner, for US$225,000.

Still happily driving around in the SM, since I bought the car now 2 years ago I have done about 8000 kms. The car is sublime and I intend to drive it to Monaco and back...
